2019 silverado pts no RAP disable

Installed standalone RFK 942, evo all and thar-gm6,tried evo-one aswell, tried newest firmware and a also a few levels back. Truck seems to start and work normally but radio plays without end after runtime until a door is opened. 2019 silverado trailboss pts. Is there a way to have the RAP disabled through data or a way it can manually be done? service# 001a07 230826. Also, "task lights" on exterior mirrors are activated by pushing lock button on RF kit, pushing lock is like pushing task light button, once-both mirrors, twice-right only, three-left only, 4 times-both off. Seem to stay on for at least several minutes, only happens when using rf remote, not factory fob.

Evo-one with DSM550 smartstart cannot shut vehicle down

I'm having some trouble with 2 units this week. one is a 2015 honda civic,at, pts with evo-one, Thar-one-hon3 with dsm550 smartstart. The other is a 2015 VW golf, key, at, Jan/15, gas. Both worked flawlessly until it reaches its time to timeout and shut down. Set for 15 mins, go outside 35 mins later to find them still running. Cannot shut off with App, oem remote, brake pedal, hood, or key. When stepping on brake or putting key in and trying to shut off, the instrument cluster reads "key system error". The only way to shut vehicle down was to remove fuses/relays related to ignition to stop engine, then unhook battery. Then key operation of vehicle returns to normal. I do not have the service number for the Civic handy as its back with customer. The service number for VW is 002B04 267057. It's almost like its caught in some kind of data loop and cant get out. Any advice is appreciated.

15 VW GOLF EVO-ONE THAR VW6 NO CRANK

2015 VW Golf, gas, AT, Key start, 01/15. Installed Evo-one, Thar VW6, TB-VW, lock-unlock-lock. Used R Link tool. Updated to latest firmware, programmed ok, decryptor successful. Yellow loop cut before power up. Doors/hood closed. When attempting to start the ignition comes on and will not crank. Parking lights seem to flash 4 times after failed start attempt. Ive tried toggling hood and PTS option in flash link with no difference. Brake lights do not seem to come on during start procedure, just park lights, (no high mount brake lamp on). SN# 002804 267091. Any thoughts? Living on coffee and exhaust fumes.

Intermittently will not shut off when time up.

2015 Dodge Journey.Push to start. Evo-all.Hardware ver 7.0 Firmware 69.06. S/N: 001A07 215167 Standalone installation, lock X3 to remote start . Sometimes the engine stays running when timer is up. Parking lights turned off, but engine still running. Tried remote start again, will not shut engine off. What could it be? Software issue?

2010 Ford Taurus standalone no tach signal

|nstalled EVO-ALL and THAR FOR4 into 2010 Ford Taurus standard key, standalone. Car will start and die after 5 seconds with evo red light flashing 3x for no tach detected. Used latest firmware and have tried backdating as well. Have also tried 2 other EVO-ALL modules with no success. Using Decryptor one key method. Serial # 001A07 153393.

2010 Nissan Murano "no key" starts on second/third attempt

installing 2010 Nissan Murano pts auto, used evo all, Thar-NIST1, solace SIC4 remote start. Vehicle will sometimes start on first attempt but after sitting 10-20 minutes, will only start on 2nd or 3rd attempt. When it fails to start the instrument cluster diplays "no key". Installed and programmed normally. Used latest firmware, later tried several other versions with same result. Have re-programmed every time firmware was updated. manually hardwired GWR wire from remote start to blue wire on evo with no change. Brake lights come on every attempt to start. Tried changing to standalone with no difference. Have swapped out remote start and bypass modules. Serial # 001A07 257744. I'm out of ideas.

2020 Ram 1500 Push To Start, Blue light does not flash on step 5

While on step 5 the blue light does not flash. Once the button on the eval all is pressed the solid blue light goues out but the blue light does not flash as indicated in step 5. The unit has been flashed to latest firmware 63.01. Wires are connected per the chart.

2018 Nissan sentra pts no HVAC

Installed a Solace remote starter and evo-nist1, standard install, into a 2018 Nissan Sentra PTS, auto. First problem i overcame was that the NIS1 T harness was made incorrectly, getting power from obd connector instead of brake switch, would only have power with key on. Redirected 12v source from brake switch. Programmed great, starts and seemed ok. Let vehicle sit for about 5 mins or longer, try to remote start, starts ok but HVAC unit is off, have to physically turn the unit back on by pushing buttons on the hvac panel (has auto hvac system). I tried reprogramming evo- all, reloading the previous firmware level, reprogramming again, replacing evo, still no change. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Serial# 001A07 055068

2005 Toyota Tundra 4 DOOR Can't find doorlocks wires in kick panel

Cannot locate Doorlock wire colors in drivers kick and nothing from the door meters out high or low in regards to switching. Am I missing something here? I've tried 10 different sources and they all claimed different options and wire colors. Non of them panned out.

Factory alarm soonds after remote starting by RF KIT

Installed evo-chr4 into 2010 Chrysler 300, standalone with 3x lock works perfect every time. When adding Autoconnect ACS200 commander as an Rf Kit to it, the factory alarm goes off after sitting a few minutes tand starting via cell phone app. The door locks do not unlock before starting as they do when 3x lock starting with factory fob. Verified that autoconnect is set to “protocol 2 fortin” In installer settings and have reversed the blue and white data wires. Tried following program procedures again, programmed ok, still won’t unlock before start With autoconnect but will work normally with 3 x lock. Thanks, mike.

No CAN outputs from Evo-All

Hello, Installing an Autostart 2381 remote start with an Evo-all into a 2012 Toyota Highlander Push to start, V6 engine. I am using guide# 3621, standard install with takeover. The Evo is set on D2D and the Autostart is set on the default setting of Xpresskit 2Way and plugged into the wider xpresskit port with D2D cable. I hardwired the tach, brake, neg door input, and GWR between the remote start and bypass modules (because of the autostart 2 way issues) After making all connections as per the instruction sheet, performed programming procedure, with the red flashing light 10x, will get the blue flashing light 10x, but will not get any yellow lights. I verified my connections but they seem correct. Upon remote starting, the vehicle will start and run normally but cannot shut off with brake pedal and cannot operate door locks while running. I tried programming several times with no change. Out of desperation, I even tried a different Evo-All module, with no change. I then hardwired the brake, tach, and door locks (arm/disarm-violet and brown wires) directly to vehicle from remote start. The vehicle will start and run normally, shut off with brake, door locks will now operate but will lock and then unlock the doors when attempting to lock. I removed the battery from the smart key and have no change. Is there a way I can make this work properly with the CAN system or another way to make the vehicle think that it is not running or the key is not in vehicle so I can lock the doors while running? INTSL+ 2003 Pontiac Montana security light takeover

Installed an autostart remote start and INT-SL+ into a 2003 Pontiac Montana and everything seemed to go well until it was all back together and tried to do a key takeover the security (lock symbol) icon is displayed in the information centre on the instrument panel. Tried the Q and A and followed instructions to cut Orange PK3 wire and atach one side to yellow and the other to yellow/black of the INT-SL+, tried this and did not change. Tried updating the firmware to V3.06, thought I had it fixed until vehicle was put back together and security icon still comes back on. Everything is normal starting the van with the key, everything is normal when remote starting. It's during takeover when the key is put into run and brake is applied to shut off remote starter that the security light comes on solid and stays on until vehicle is shut off and restarted with they key. Any suggestions, other than black tape over the light?

heated seats with INT-SL

Hello, I am to install a Solace remote start with the INT-SL into a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Classic. The customer would like his factory heated seats to be able to come on when remote starting. Will the heated seats come on automatically when remote started below a certain temp? Or can I turn it on and off as an auxillary function through remote start via data if possible? Thanks, Mike.

will not remote start, displays "no key" on inst cluster

Installing an Austostart as-2471 with evo-nist1 in D2D into a 2013 Nissan Murano PTS. Loaded latest software version. Seemed to program well. When trying to remote start the instrument cluster will display "no key" and will not power up dash or crank. If i have the key inside the vehicle it will remote start properly. If I enable options C1 and D1 the vehicle will remote start when pushing the factory lock 3x - when key is not in vehicle. I had to turn off the hood switch input in options as it thought hood was always open. Locks work great. Blue light on evo flashes every lock press, red light comes on when trying to remote start. tried grounding blue wire for gwr with no change. Using guide#22271 D2D. i am using red "RL1" connector on evo. I have gwr, tach, and brake hardwired from evo to remote starter. PTS white/blk wire shows battery voltage when at rest and "0" when PTS start button pressed. Please help...

2012 Ford Fusion Evofort1 and Crimestopper rs2g3 combo programed but no start.

I programed fort1in the correct manner getting multiple red led flashes and a pause then blue flashed for data conferm but still won`t start. It will start if I have the key in the switch. When I bought the car it had only one key so I went to the Ford dealer and had another made so I have 2 keys. Is there a chance I only have a copy of the original key? As i said it semed to program corectly with the correct flashes. Do I need a Dcryptor for this to work?

2015 Dodge Journey interior light staying on

Hello, Installed a Autostart as-1780 with Evo-chrt6 into a 2015 dodge journey PTS. Loaded latest reccomended firmware 74.19. Installation and programming seemed to be textbook. Followed the troubleshooting steps, I am wired D2D and have the tach and footbrake W2W between the remote start and evo, as well as 12v and ground to the remote starter. The door locks seem to operate normally with remote start. The lights on the evo are red and yellow solid while starting. As long as the EVO-ALL is plugged in to D2D cable the interior lights stay on and the warning icon is on instrument cluster indicating a door ajar.. If I disconnect the RAP door trigger wire(pink/black) from the purple(ground while door open) the interior lights go out as normal. Tried the green wire on evo instead of pink/black, made no difference. Both wires from Evo show ground while vehicle is shut off until basically the battery dies.

Which protocol and connections to use

Hey Nick, Just want to clarify.  I primarily use Autostart remote starters (ex: as-1780) with and EVO-ALL.  Lately I have been having similar issues on installations where certain things will not work. I have always used the "BLACK" D2D (ADS/FORTIN) connection on the back of the autostart and left the bypass option (mode 4, func 4, opt 2) on "Xpresskit 2 way D2D" as instructed by tech support, recently It was shown to me that I should be using the "RED D2D" (Xpresskit), so i have been using it this way.  Now, should I be trying "Fortin 1 way D2D" protocol on the Autostart? (mode4, func 4, opt 3) Thanks, Mike.

Lock and brake status not working through datalink

I've already solved this problem, but found this to be an excellent forum for remote start questions so I'm writing this in order to help others that may run into the same problem I did.

Installed a Crimestopper RS7-G5 with an EVO-ALL.  Remote start, unlock, even the tailgate open worked fine, but there were two problems:

Pressing lock on the Crimestopper remote would lock and immediately unlock the doors; brake status wasn't being received by the Crimestopper (so the remote start couldn't be cancelled by pressing the froot brake).

Tested grouding the purple wire on the EVO-ALL to confirm that it properly controlled the locks.  That worked as expected so the problem was in the Crimestopper.

After a bunch of messing around and reading other questions here, I set the option on the Crimestopper to use the Fortin DataLink protocol.  The default option is supposed to already be set to the Fortin protocol, but for some reason, this Crimstopper unit was incorrect from the factory.

(This might be the same problem as posted in this question, but that question was never fully resolved.)

Lock on remote starter only works when vehicle is running

Installed Austostart 2481-TWS with EVO-ALL in 2012 Ford Focus Platinum Push To Start. Everything seemed to program fine and vehicle starts great. Unlock and trunk release work as expected, Lock on Remote start fob will only lock the doors when car is running. Park lamps on car will flash but will not lock the doors. Vehicle can also be remote started with doors or hood open. V 71.30 is currently loaded into unit. Thanks, mike.

2006 Fusion doorpins for manual trans, can I use blue Domelight supervision wire instead?

I'm installing a Prostart CT3471 remote start and KEY-OVERIDE-ALL into a 2006 Ford Fusion with manual trans. Can I use the blue dome supervision wire for a door pin or should I be installing the 3K resistors and diodes? If so, are these just 1 amp diodes? Thanks, Mike.

Which guide to use for 2012 Honda Odyssey?

Hello, Installed a Prostart CT-3471 remote start and EVO-ALL in a 2012 Honda Odyssey that has power sliding doors but not connected to remote start. Should I use Guide #26541 or #3024 guide 5, program 1? They are both similar but programming has an extra step in #26541. Installed a week ago, everything installed, programmed, and functioned perfectly for the week. Today, started with remote start and have Check engine light with emissions fault and VRS/traction control fault. Vehicle still starts with remote start and works fine otherwise. Could this be pure coincidence and unrelated or caused by remote start install? Thanks, Mike Unger.

2010 challenger starter cut in/out during cranking

Installed prostart ct3471-tw in 2010 dodge charger, auto, key start, with EVO-CHRT4, power and ground both units through d2d/t-harness. Ground with 1.67k resistor for parking lamps. Using Fortin protocol on bypass and remote start. door locks and trunk release work well. programmed bypass and prostart as usual, tach through bypass. tach programmed good. Modify T- harness as per diagram A- cut yellow wire in T between connectors, connect D1 ylw grn to cut yellow wire,Vehicle remote starts normally most of time, occasionally when cranking with remote starter it will crank longer before actually starting and while cranking starter is cutting in and out, making awful noise.seems worse the longer it sits between remote starts, cannot dupicate with key starting vehicle. Tried reprogramming tach, with no noticeable change. Would using power and ground for remote start from d2d wires as per wiring diagram A on THAR-CHR4 instructions be insufficient. Do I need to hardwire tach signal. Any ideas.

Installed evo all wire diagram 3 f every thing works great the evo controls door locks connection at bcm light green arm disarm wire I have programed unlock before start and re lock after start because the alarm must be disarmed before start the problem is the front windows drop down a little should I hard wire locks instead of using the evo thanks

Cannot get EVO-ALL blue light flash with IGN 2011 Escape

Hello, Installed Evo-all as per connection diagram 3318 #2 on a customers 2011 Ford Escape. HA keys, 40 bit.(0v with key in cylinder,ign off) Loaded software version 4.18 as per diagram. Use programming procedure #3 for 2 keys, Blue light on, Turn ign on, blue light goes out, turn key off and blue light comes on, will not flash. Loaded versions 71.11 and 71.18. would not change with either versions, tried resetting module and reloading software again, no change. Have +12v on pin A1, pin A10 (light blue/black) to pin 4 (purple/gray) on ign barrel, Pin A20 (lt/blue/blk) to pin 3 (yellow/orange) on Ign barrel. Tested continuity of connections and are good. I am out of ideas, Troubleshooting guide claims CAN communication is not detected or wires mixed up, that's not the case assuming wiring diagram is correct. What are your thoughts?
